Apprentice Boys of Derry Finvoy Branch to mark 75 yrs

THE Apprentice Boys of Derry No Surrender Club Finvoy Branch have announced their programme for their 75th anniversary celebrations.

On Thursday 16 February from 8pm there will be a 75th anniversary dinner in the Anglers Rest, Vow Road, Ballymoney.

Numbers attending to Bro Roy Wilson by February 9.

Then on Friday 24 February from 8pm there will be an anniversary meeting in Keer’s Memorial Hall, Finvoy where an installation of officers, supper and social evening will take place.

For catering purposes please inform any club member of numbers of non-members attending.

On Saturday 25 February (7.30pm) a History of the Apprentice Boys of Derry evening will be held - Bro William Stewart PP, No Surrender Parent Club; and History of Finvoy Club - Bro Thomas Fenton Sec.

There will be an exhibition of photographs and memorabalia in Keer’s Memorial Hall.

On Sunday 26 February from 2.30pm there will be a thanksgiving service in Keer’s Memorial Hall.

The preacher will be Bro Rev Gordon Cooke.
