Apprentice Boys to hold annual parade

LOCAL Apprentice Boys will be parading in Lisburn on Sunday (August 7) for the annual Relief of Derry service.

The parade involves the Lisburn branch of the Apprentice Boys No Surrender Club, who are hosting, as well as the Broomhedge branch, Largymore Black District No 9 and Lisburn Black District No 1. The parade will move off at 2.30pm.

The parade, led by Pride of Ballymacash Flute Band, will make its way via Wallace Avenue, Seymour Street, Castle Street, Bow Street, Market Place and the HIllsborough Road to Christ Church for a service at 3.30pm. The service will be conducted by Rev John Pickering.

The outward parade will move off at 4.30pm and will make its way back to Lisburn Orange Hall.
