Approval for new housing
PLANNING Service has recommended approval of an application for the construction of a new housing development near the centre of Glengormley.
At their Planning and Consultation Committee meeting on Monday evening (April 15), local councillors raised no objections to the scheme, which could see 35 new properties - town houses, semi-detached and detached units - constructed on land accessed from Glenwell Road and bordered by existing properties at Antrim Road and Glengormley Park.
The meeting was informed that there was one only objection to the application.
