The resurfacing scheme, which will extend for two kilometres on Hiltonstown Road between the Gortfad Road and the Tullynahinnion Road, is expected to be finished by Friday, October 7.

Infrastructure Minister Chris Hazzard said: “This significant investment will improve the local road network and maintain a key corridor which serves as a gateway across the River Bann.”

Temporary traffic management arrangements and diversionary routes will be in place during the scheme and drivers are being warned they should expect some delays.

The planned dates are subject to favourable weather conditions.
