Are you Rasharkin’s Biggest Loser? St Mary’s wants YOU!

Could you be Rasharkin’s Biggest Loser? Mary’s GAC Rasharkin are starting the hunt for the biggest loser, so if you’re up for losing some weight, getting fit and having a bit of craic, then come along and get involved!

Supported by Kennedy’s Pharmacy in Rasharkin, registration is on Saturday 8th February, ongoing from 6.45pm in the Parish Centre. 
A short introduction talk will commence at 7.20pm sharp for all interested in signing up.

Registration fee is £10 (includes a welcome pack from Kennedy’s, your team t-shirt and your first weigh-in).

Weekly weigh-ins throughout the programme will cost £5 per week.

If you’re unable to make it on Saturday 8th Februart, please contact a member of the events committee, as no further participants can be accepted after this date.

Everyone who joins up will be split into teams to try and lose as much weight as possible, for yourself and your team, by being active and eating healthily.

The winning team will be the one who has lost the biggest percentage weight.

There will also be individual prizes for the biggest male and female losers.

PLEASE NOTE - if you have any health conditions or concerns about your health, we recommend that you see a physician before registering for this programme.

Kennedy’s Pharmacy offer Blood Pressure Checks (£1) with no appointment necessary.

The pharmacy also offer a more comprehensive health check (£10); please ask any member of Kennedy’s Pharmacy staff for further details or to arrange an appointment for this service.

Alternatively, you can ask your GP or nurse for a health check.

If would be worthwhile for participants to check their Blood Pressure before the programme and at the end of the programme to see if there is a difference. So why not start the new year with a new you?
