“The Armed Forces Community Covenant complements, at a local level, the Armed Forces Covenant which was introduced in the United Kingdom in 2011,” said Mr. Barr.

“The Armed Forces Covenant is important to our community which is why Councillor Doug Beattie MC and myself will be hosting a meeting for local community groups to learn more about the Community Covenant and how they can get involved, this meeting will be held in Banbridge Royal British Legion on September 1st 2015 at 8:30pm.

“Everyone is welcome to come along”
