Armistice Day marked in Lisburn
Lisburn paused to remember the fallen of two world wars and subsequent conflicts at an Armistice Day Ceremony held at Lisburn War Memorial on Wednesday 11th November at 11.00am (the 11th hour, of the 11th Day of the 11th Month).
A short act of remembrance was led by Raymond Corbett (President of Lisburn Branch of the Royal British Legion) and Gordon Rogan (Secretary of Lisburn Branch of the Royal British Legion) gave the exhortation.
Jonathan Craig MLA, who deputised for the Lisburn Branch Chaplain, conducted a short act of worship.
