Armstrong Medical supports Portrush Park Run
Armstrong Medical, as part of their Business in the Community initiative, is pleased to help support the efforts of Parkrun with funding towards the cost of hiring their changing facilities.
More than 400 runners have experienced the unique Portrush course, enjoying rain, hail, snow and gales and the numbers keep climbing with 150 participants, over the past two weeks.
Andy Deal Parkrun Race Director explained: “ Parkrun is grateful to Armstrong Medical for its continued support over the last six months, with the inclement weather over the winter months the changing facilities have proven a welcomed haven for the runners and volunteers each Saturday morning.”
Parkrun is a weekly free timed 5k run which takes place every Saturday at 9.30am on Portrush East Strand.
