Arrest after assault
A 27-YEAR-OLD man was charged with assaulting police and a number of other offences after trouble flared in William Street in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The man was arrested and charged with assaulting police, disorderly behaviour, resisting police and threats to kill. He will face court on August 20.
As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
