Arrest after police helicopter spot stolen car in Lurgan
Police in Lurgan have arrested a man after a vehicle was taken from Donard Gardens in Lurgan.
Police received a report of a stolen red Nissan Micra at 10.48pm on Saturday November 21.
A description of the car was circulated and the police helicopter helped locate the car which was stopped by police on Old Portadown Road.
A 43-year-old man was arrested for taking a motor vehicle without authority, no insurance and driving with excess alcohol. He was later released on bail pending further enquiries.
