Arrested for disorderly behaviour

A 51 year old man is expected to appear at Londonderry Magistrates Court this morning, January 4, charged with disorderly behaviour and obstruction.

The charges follow an incident at takeaway premises on the Strand Road on Sunday evening. As usual the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.

Meanwhile, a 40 year old man was arrested on Strand Road during the early hours of Sunday, January 3 for disorderly behaviour.

He has been released pending a report to the PPS.

And a 20-year-old man was arrested on Shipquay Street for disorderly behaviour during the early hours of Saturday, January 2.

He was released on bail to return to Strand Road police station at a later date.
