Arrested for shouting at parade

Police in Banbridge have reported a man to the Public Prosecution Service after sectarian comments were shouted during a parade in the town on Sunday evening, August 3.

The parade was approaching the Cenotaph in Newry Street when a male shouted out.

A police officer stopped the 26-year-old and cautioned him. He will be reported to the PPS for the offence of provocative conduct.
