Arrests after disturbance

NEIGHBOURHOOD officers arrested three males, aged 14, 16 and 20, following a disturbance in the Portadown Road area on Saturday.

Around 10.30pm police responded to a report of youths causing annoyance and drinking in the area.

On arrival a number of bottles were thrown at police which resulted in the back window of a police car being smashed. The youths made off.

Three males were later arrested in the Oakridge area. They were released on bail pending further enquiries.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the disturbance or has information in relation to it.
