Arrests after ‘significant’ drugs find in Lurgan

A man and woman were arrested following the search of the a house in the Flush Place area yesterday.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “As a result a significant amount of drugs and cash were seized.”

A 17-year-old female was arrested and is now on bail pending further enquiries.

A 33-year-old male was arrested and charged with possession of drugs with intent to supply. He was remanded overnight and is appearing at court today.

The PSNI said: “Great to see these drugs taken out of circulation rather than in the community!

“Much of our success against drugs and dealers would not be possible without the help and support of our local communities. Thank you for this and please continue to work with us on this very important community concern.”
