Arrests made after off duty officer becomes suspicious
THREE men were arrested after a vigilant off-duty policeman noted a group acting suspiciously in a vehicle last Thursday morning.
The off duty officer thought they were giving undue attention to a cash delivery in the Sprucefield Park complex.
He decided to make a phone call for assistance.
Police quickly responded to the officer's report which resulted in three men and a vehicle being stopped and searched.
They made three arrests for several offences including the taking of a motor vehicle, drugs possession, handling stolen goods, fraud and possession of an imitation firearm with intent.
