The football pundit will be at Carrick Rangers FC on Sunday (July 29) as part of McDonald’s Community Football programme at a number of venues in Northern Ireland.

From stalls and rides to bouncy castles, football games and music there is something for all the family and the club is encouraging everyone in the community to attend and participate. The fun day at Taylor’s Avenue runs 13:00 - 18:00.

Pat Jennings, Northern Ireland’s record cap holder, who will be joining Tollymore FC on Saturday and Maiden City FC on Sunday, said: “Any club which is fortunate enough to host one of these events is in for a day of great fun, participation and inclusivity for children and their families.

“I would encourage families from the local community to get behind these events by attending and enjoying the amazing facilities provided by McDonald’s and the IFA. With thousands of children set to get involved, this will be a memorable weekend.”

The programme focuses on inclusivity through supporting accredited grassroots clubs and their volunteers to raise the standards of grassroots football as well as improving the grassroots experience for young aspiring footballers.
