Arson attack on in Ballymacross propertybin set on fire and pushed against door

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following the report of an arson that occurred at a residential premises on Rathvarna Drive area of Ballymacross, Lisburn.

Detective Constable Watterson said: “It was reported that at approximately 2.50pm on Sunday, December 11, a wheelie bin was deliberately set alight and pushed against the front door of a residential premises in the on Rathvarna Drive area of Ballymacross, Lisburn.”

“We are appealing to anyone that may have any information or to anyone that may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at the time to contact Lisburn Reactive and Organised Crime on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference 779 on 11/12/16.
