Arts and crafts fair for Islandmagee

The fair is being organised in conjunction with Islandmagee Community Development Association.

Once again it will be a chance for Islandmagee artists and crafters to show case their talents with a wide range of top quality artisan products on show and available for purchase.

To supplement the local artists and crafters there will also be a selected group of artists and crafters - many from the East Antrim area.

As well as a wide range of crafts, there will also be a fantastic selection of delicious cupcakes and traybakes to take home – perfect for an Easter treat.

For this fair Islandmagee Originals nominated charity is RNLI which is a charity very close to the heart of many Islandmagee people and does an amazing job saving lives in the seas around our coast.

Volunteers from the Larne branch will be attending on the day to raise funds, sell RNLI merchandise and provide information and advice to anyone venturing onto the sea over the summer.

Islandmagee Community Development Association as well as supporting Islandmagee Originals with organising the fair will have a table selling their very popular history books and notelets featuring locals scenes painted by local artists.

Their representatives will also be available to talk over and answer your questions on developments affecting Islandmagee.

Entry to the fair and car parking are both free and refreshments can be purchased at the very popular Gobbins Cafe in the centre.

To keep children busy the onsite playpark will be available all day. It promises to be a great day out with lots of beautiful handmade arts and crafts on offer and everyone is welcome.

Once the fair is over the Islandmagee Originals team will be turning their attention to the organisation of the annual Islandmagee Arts Trail which will be on August 27-28.
