Arts grant scheme opens

LISBURN Arts Advisory Committee is now welcoming applications to the 40th round of their Arts Grants Scheme.

Grants are available for arts organisations or individual artists from the Lisburn City Council area.

The scheme is open to artists and organisations working in any art form. All artists or arts organisations from the Lisburn City Council area are eligible to apply.

Previous successful applicants have included local theatre companies, art groups, and Lisburn’s very own Community Circus. Individual artists have received grants for activities as diverse as staging an exhibition, undertaking an overseas residency or training, or the purchase of specialist arts equipment.

The deadline for the receipt of applications is Friday, September 28, at 4pm and applications are welcome for projects or activities taking place from January to April 2013 onwards.
