Arts must bear cuts brunt
Almost a clear majority of respondents to our most recent poll believe the arts should be the main victim of budget cuts in Northern Ireland.
Forty-seven per cent said arts should bear the brunt of cuts compared with sports clubs (18%); university places (9%); police patrols (8%); road works (8%); hospitals (6%; and schools (3%).
