ASB down 83 reports

BALLYMONEY police are 'on target' with regards to reducing the number of incident of anti-social behaviour to ensure a 15% reduction by 31/2/2011.

The news was revealed during a recent District Policing Partnership meeting last Tuesday afternoon in Riada House.

Speaking at the event, Area Commander John Magill said: “From April to December 2008 there were 808 reported incidents. This compares to 725 from April to December 2009 - a decrease of 83, which means we are on target.

“Police patrols continue to target those areas where ASB is reported. Acceptable Behaviour Contracts and Anit-Social Behaviour Orders will be sought against those using anti-social behaviour.”
