Assault and damage charges denied
A DUNGANNON man is to contest a number of charges which allegedly occurred during an incident on April 11.
Thirty-five year old Waqar Ahmed from Mullaghadun Lane is accused of assaulting a woman and damaging a picture frame and flooring in her home. A defence solicitor entered not guilty pleas to both matters on his client’s behalf. East Tyrone District Judge John Meehan listed the case for hearing as a contest on November 26.
