Assault charge
A Waterside man has appeared in court accused of assaulting a female.
Andrew McKinlay, of Bigwood Road, Ardmore faces a charge of assault which allegedly occurred on January 16, last.
An investigating officer told Londonderry Magistrate’s Court she believed she could connect the 50-year-old to the charge before the court.
McKinlay was released on his own bail of 200 and ordered not to have any contact with the alleged injured party.
He will appear in court again on March 11.
