When they arrived members of the public were restraining the two males.

Police asked Graham his name and he said ‘f—k off’ and pushed an officer with both hands. Limb restraints had to be used and when he was asked for his name said ‘f—k off’.

A barrister representing the defendant said he would apologise for his behaviour and he had been ‘drunk and stupid’.

District Judge, Mr Mervyn Bates, said a community service order seem appropriate and adjourned the case for a short sentence report to see if the defendant was suitable.
