Assaults

In connection with the first incident police want to hear from anyone who can shed light on a man being assaulted close to the sorting office in Great James Street. The incident took place at around 4.40am on Saturday, April 24.

The victim, who was attacked by two males, sustained a small gash to his head.

Anyone who was in the area and could help police with their enquiries is asked to contact Strand Road on 0845 600 8000. In the second incident, police are appealing for witnesses after a woman sustained a wrist injury following an altercation with a couple on William Street around 2am on Sunday, April 25.
