Police in Foyle are appealing for witnesses after a man in his 40s was assaulted by two males close to a taxi rank on William Street shortly before midnight on December 28.
He was left with facial injuries, a cut to the head and several broken ribs. Anyone who witnessed the attack is asked to contact police or Crimestoppers.
