Attacks motivated by '˜hatred and bigotry': McLean
DUP Councilor and Past Grand Master of the Independent Orange Order Alan McLean has added his condemnation to the graffiti attack on Rasharkin Orange Hall last Saturday morning.
He stated: “This is the latest in an ongoing series of attacks on this hall. It is very clear that the attacks are motivated by nothing other than hatred and bigotry.
“It is another attempt to intimidate the Protestant community in the village and most not be tolerated. I would commend the members of the Orange Institution in Rasharkin for the manner in which they carry out their business despite this provocation. I want to ensure them of my support and the members of the Independent Loyal Orange Institution at this time.”
