Attempted hijacking at Bentrim Road Tesco last week

Detectives in Lisburn are appealing for information following an attempted hijacking that occurred in the vicinity of a supermarket in the Bentrim Road area on the evening of Tuesday February 24.

At approximately 10.45pm, a 21 year old man was at an ATM machine when two other men came up to his car.

They banged on the windows and demanded the keys from him.

The 21 year old man refused and the two men left in a black Vauxhall Corsa.

One of the men is described as being aged in his 30s, approximately 6ft tall and of medium build. He was wearing a dark coloured jacket.

The other man is described as being aged between 25 and 30, about 5’10” tall and of slim build.

He was wearing a dark coloured tracksuit top and light blue jeans.
