Attempted theft

During the early hours of Friday morning, January 24, the outer casing of a boiler house to the rear of a property was removed and an attempt made to steal home heating oil.

Police are appealing to anyone who has information in relation to this incident to contact them in Banbridge on 0845 600 8000.

Police are also reminding the public to take steps to secure their property by ensuring that all homes are locked securely. Locks should also be added to gates and sheds and residents should include outbuildings in their daily security routine.
