Auditions for junior stars

AUDITIONS for the annual Craigavon Junior Stars In Your Eyes competition will take place next weekend at St Anthony's Centre.

The winning act will be brought to Mogul Studios to make a professional CD of the winning song.

The competition is open to anyone aged nine to 13 on the date of the auditions.

The grand final will take place on Sunday, October 17 at St Anthony's Centre with prizes for the top five acts and also prizes for the top three best lookalikes.

Show producer Kieran Corr said: "The only advice is to make sure that when you audition that you are fully prepared. You can audition as any famous pop star or group."

Auditions take place on Saturday, October 2 from 1pm to 3pm and on Sunday, October 3 from 1pm to 3pm. Application forms can be picked up from St Anthony's Centre or Print Business Supplies in Lurgan or you can come along and audition at any of the two days selected.
