Aurora glow from Slemish slopes
Clear skies and the promise of high aurora levels sent keen photographers in the Ballymena area scurrying to the places least affected by ‘light pollution’ last week.
The slopes of Slemish mountain proved a very popular spot and it was from there that local man Barry Hughes was able to capture this superb picture of the aurora’s greenish glow across the sky in the far north.
