The proceeds of a barbecue and barn dance, Mrs Calvert has donated £800 in each of the last five years, and has been a regular contributor to Breathe Easy funds for the past eight years.

Thanking Mrs Calvert, Mr Kelly said: “Fund-raising is an important aspect of the work of Breathe Easy Causeway. The funds are greatly appreciated by the British Lung Foundation and all proceeds are invaluable in helping people with serious breathing disorders.

“However, Breathe Easy Causeway is not all about money raising. Throughout the season there is also a series of keep-fit sessions under the expert guidance of qualified fitness instructors. “
