Award for Manor Centre

A LURGAN day centre has been congratulated by the Health Minister after being named the best kept health facility.

Manor Day Centre won the SuperValu Best Kept Health and Social Care Facility Award.

Health Minister Edwin Poots congratulated staff at the centre for the achievement.

He said: “I would like to congratulate all of the winners in this year’s SuperValu Best Kept Health and Social Care Facility Awards.

“It is clear to see how much work they have put into maintaining and improving both their indoor and outdoor spaces and what a difference this will make to the health and well-being of service users, which is so important in a health and social care setting.

“The awards are a great way for health and social care teams and their clients to work together in an effort to make the very best of their shared environment.”

Doreen Muskett, President of the Northern Ireland Amenity Council praised the winners: “The aim of the awards is to encourage Northern Ireland’s health and social care facilities in their efforts to make the most of their premises for everyone who uses them.

“We would like to add our congratulations to the Minister’s and commend Manor Day Centre and all of the winning facilities on their success.”
