Badgers win in London

ST JOHN Ambulance Badgers from Londonderry were among the prizewinners at the recent St John Ambulance Priory Challenge National Final Competition in London.

Not only that, but a Northern Ireland Division too the top prize

The Priory Challenge National Finals are set up to test the first aid and skill of the St John Ambulance volunteers. Scenarios that portray incidents that volunteers come across at public events, at home or in the community are set up and the volunteers respond as they would if on duty. The incidents show how first aiders can be the difference between a life lost and a life saved. Competitors are marked on how they respond to the situation by judges and placed on scores gained.
