Bailed man fined £60 for having cannabis
When he was arrested for a breach of bail it was discovered that a 21-year-old man was in possession of cannabis.
Shea Leonard, Willow Avenue, Banbridge, was fined £60 last Thursday at the local magistrates’ court for unlawful possession of a class B drug.
He was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that shortly after midnight on October 23 this year police spoke to the defendant at Church Square in Banbridge.

Hide AdLeonard was on bail and was in breach of his bail so he was arrested.
A small quantity of cannabis was found on his person.
A solicitor representing the defendant said he had been drinking, had been offered the drugs and bought them.
