Paddy has had a long interest in the landscape, human geography and heritage of the mid-Ulster area, and in how these have been impacted by patterns of human migration over the last 400 years.

This will be reflected in his talk, entitled ‘Migration in Sperrins History’ which will be illustrated by numerous examples of the ways in which the face of the district has been continually re-shaped by those who have lived and worked and left their mark there.
