Ballinderry Primary pupils raise £3,304

Ballinderry Primary School pupils took part in a walk for MS which raised £3,304.58 in aid of Action MS.

Action MS School’s Project Officer, Noreen Kerr, visited the school recently, for a special awards presentation to thank the pupils for their tremendous efforts on their recent Walk for MS.

A total of 198 pupils joined the Walk for MS team at Lurgan Park, in June.

Altogether the pupils raised a fantastic total of £3,304.58 in aid of Action MS, Northern Ireland’s Multiple Sclerosis Charity.

Northern Ireland has the second highest rate of multiple sclerosis in the world, second only to Scotland. Action MS works all across Northern Ireland to support people living with multiple sclerosis, their families and carers.

In thanking the pupils Noreen said: “Thanks to the generosity, dedication and support of schools like Ballinderry Primary School, the Walks for MS are at the core of Action MS fundraising.

“Action MS supports people living with multiple sclerosis, their families and carers in Northern Ireland.
