Ballinderry unites in grief as footballer Aaron Devlin is laid to rest
There were heartbreaking scenes as Ballinderry footballer Aaron Devlin was laid to rest on Sunday.
A huge number of mourners attended the funeral at St Patrick’s Church, to pay their final respects and show their support for the Devlin family and devastated clubmates of the 23-year-old.
There was a minute’s applause at Croke Park on Saturday, and similar marks of respect shown at GAA games across Ireland this weekend.
Ballinderry GAC said they had been overwhelmed by the support shown for the Devlin family, from across Ireland.
