Ballinlea break-in

AN unoccupied house at Ballinlea Road near Ballycastle was broken into some time on Friday July 1/Saturday July 2, although police said nothing was stolen.

Police say people with unoccupied houses should regularly check on them and make sure the property has an alarm and is secure and, if possible, neighbours should be asked to keep an eye on them.

The PSNI further state that if a house is going to be unoccupied for a long period of time items of significant value should not be left within.
