Ballintoy and Dunseverick Confirmation

TWELVE people were newly Confirmed after the Grouped Parishes of Ballintoy & Dunseverick service of Confirmation and First Holy Communion on Sunday 5th September.

The joint service took place in Dunseverick Parish Church and was followed by a celebration lunch in Ballintoy Parish Hall.

Five candidates from Ballintoy and 5 from Dunseverick where joined by 2 from Kildollagh.

Revd. Patrick Barton, Rector of the Grouped Parishes of Ballintoy & Dunseverick with Rathlin Island added: "The young people have confirmed their faith making a serious and considered commitment, they deserve our continued prayers, support and encouragement on their journey of faith.

"I wish to say thank you to all who contributed to the success of the day, especially the Churchwardens from both Parishes and the team of ladies who supplied the wonderful lunch."
