Ballintoy WI AGM

ANNE Kirkwood, Executive member for the Riada area chaired the Annual General Meeting of Ballintoy WI.

Tellers were Norma Eakin and Margaret Hammond. Reports were given by the Secretary and Treasurer and Anne Kirkwood gave a heartfelt thanks to the President, Jayne Fisher and her Committee for a sterling job of work throughout the year.

After supper the results of the voting were given and the Committee are Jayne Fisher, Joyce Kane, Helen McCurdy, Eileen McMullan, Margaret Reid, Miriam Thompson, Ann Lywood and June Wylie and Marie McFall as the new President.

A presentation and thanks were given to Anne Kirkwood and her tellers.

A warm welcome was given to two new members Sheila Boyd and Jacqui McVicker.

Birthday girl for October was Nan Christie. Competition winners for a wooden ornament were Jayne Fisher 1st, Nancy McKay 2nd and June Wylie 3rd and for the autumn leaf were Nancy McKay 1st, Susan Taylor 2nd and Eileen McMullan 3rd.

Ballot winner was Eileen McMullan.
