Toilets damaged

Toilets at Main Street, Armoy, were damaged on August 2. Other reports of anti-social behaviour have also been reported. Police enquiries are ongoing.

Castle St assault

A report has been made to police about an assault that occurred in licenced premises on Castle Street on 29th July 2011. Police enquires are ongoing.

‘Suspicious’

Police say a ‘suspicious’ Vauxhall Vectra that was drawing a trailer was reported driving in the Armoy area on August 3.

‘Diffing’

It was reported on August 3 that two BMW cars were enagaged in “Diffing” at a car park on Whitepark Road near Ballycastle. Police enquires are ongoing

Plate stolen

The rear number plate of a Nissan Quasquai was stolen whilst it was parked at Beechwood Avenue, Ballycastle. Police enquiries are ongoing

Parrot lost

A parrot was reported lost on August 4 from a house at Carnduff, Ballycastle. The bird is dark grey and had a yellow tail and wings. Police ask the public to be vigilant for this bird.

Stones smashed

Some coping stones were smashed off a wall at Strand view Cottages, Ballycastle on August 5. Police enquires are ongoing.

Bushmills graffiti

Graffiti was sprayed on the wall of a house at Clogher Court, Bushmills on August 5. Police appeal for information.

Window smashed

A window was smashed at a shop on Coleraine Road, Ballycastle, on August 5. Police appeal for information.

Green damaged

Damage was caused to the bowling green in Ballycastle on August 6 by youths jumping off the clubhouse onto the green. Police enquires are ongoing.

Cushendun theft

A sum of money was stolen from a vending machine at Cushendun Caravan Club on August 6. Police enquires are ongoing.

Man assaulted

A man was assaulted on August 6 following a disturbance at a Caravan Park in Cushendall. Police enquiries are ongoing.

Scam alert

Police are appealing for people to be alert following suspicious telephone calls to members of the public outlining that the recipient is entitled to cash owed to them for outstanding bank charges.

The scam requires the caller to purchase an internet voucher and once done a call would be made to the recipient. Police advise the public to be wary of this and to check with there their banks if they think that money is owed to them.
