Ballycastle man fined over disorderly behaviour incident
Police officers were called to a report of fighting on a bus which stopped at a 24-hour garage in Ballymena at 3am and a man said they were 'nothing but Orange b--tards'.
Sean Laverty (24), of Mayo Drive, Ballycastle, was fined £150 at Ballymena Magistrates Court when he pleaded guilty to a charge of being disorderly at North Road, Ballymena, on December 6 last year.
A prosecutor told the court the defendant also asked officers: “What the f--k do you think you are doing?”

Hide AdA defence lawyer said the incident “hit home” and his client has since abstained from alcohol.
District Judge Des Perry said it seemed as if the defendant, who previously had a suspended sentence, has turned his life around.
