Ballycastle police news round-up

Police are investigating a firework being put through the front door of a house in the Glentaise Drive area of Ballycastle on Saturday 12th October at around 8pm.

Damage was caused to the door. Information and witnesses being sought.

Also at around 9.20pm on Tuesday 8th October, as a car drove on Castle Street in Ballycastle, the window was struck by an unknown person. Witnesses are sought.

In other news, an 18 year old man was arrested for various drugs offences on Friday 11th October and drugs recovered following search of house in Armoy. Enquiries are continuing. Anyone with information about drugs in Moyle area should contact police in Ballycastle on 0845 600 8000.

Ballycastle police received report of smashed window at property in the Castle Street area of Ballycastle in the early hours of Saturday 12th October. Witnesses sought.

Police are investigating theft of an I-phone from a window display of a shop in the Ann Street area of Ballycastle at around 3pm on Saturday 12th October. Information sought.
