Ballycastle Rotakids meet the Lord Mayor

Twelve P5-P7 Ballycastle Integrated pupils in the company of Principal Mrs Diana Evans and school volunteer, Mrs Millar, made the trip to City Hall in Belfast recently, to mark the establishment of the first Rotakids Club in Ireland.

The pupils were hosted by Lord Mayor Nichola Mallon who expressed a genuine interest in their aims and encouraged involvement in community life for the betterment of all.

Commenting on their confident manner and attentive behaviour, the Lord Mayor then presented badges to all in attendance. The youngsters were treated to a mini-tour of the City Hall and made the most of a chance to experience the Council Chamber.
