Residents have experienced complete loss of water supply every few days, and sometimes more than once a day, requiring lengthy correspondence with NI Water each time.

Councillors have accused the water service of a lack of investment in the local water infrastructure and have submitted their criticism to the current water consultation strategy.
The council’s Head of Strategy and Rural Development stated that an update was due from NI Water by the end of August regarding the infrastructure, and that she would follow that up.
