Ballykeel Church is on a 'Mission'!

BALLYKEEL Presbyterian will focus on mission over the next two Sundays with special speakers lined up to share news of what God has been doing through their work.

This Sunday, October 24, the congregation will meet for their end of month Faith @ 530 service, which is an informal service of praise, sharing and testimony with guests. This Sunday is planned to feature a surprise 'father and son' team who will be appearing to speak of their work and share in music. Everyone is welcome to the service, which welcomes young families and concludes with a cup of tea.

The following Sunday at the usual times of 10am and 6.30pm, the congregation will get an opportunity to hear of God's work in Europe and Asia.

The morning service will host Eastern European missionaries supported by Ballykeel Church via the European Missionary Fellowship.

In the evening, Joe and Janet Campbell from Nepal will be detailing what God has done in the Himalayan kingdom. The Campbells having previously lived in Holywood, Co Down, where Joe served as an elder in Bangor Road Presbyterian.

Minister Martin McNeely comments: "Our commitment to mission is firstly to Ballykeel, then Ballymena, then to the ends of the earth as Scripture says. We have always had a strong base of support and interest in mission around the world. In recent weeks we have been raising awareness of the work of Tear Fund as they support development work through missional churches in Cambodia. Over the next two Sundays we will hear of God's hand in the lives of people, both in Ballymena and further afield. We especially look forward to our Faith @ 530 services and welcome everyone along to the church”.+
