Ballykeel Presbyterian Church marks 40 years

Ballykeel Presbyterian are preparing to celebrate 40 years of life and witness with a series of events this autumn including a congregational dinner in early October.

They will mark their four decades by inviting all three of their serving ministers to speak at special anniversary services during three Sundays in September starting on the 14th with Rev Joseph Fell at 10am.

Rev Fell began ministry life as minister of Ballyloughan Presbyterian, sharing with the brand new ‘Church Extension Charge’ of Ballykeel in 1974. The congregation quickly flourished and was established as a church in it’s own right under the long ministry of Rev Brian Savage. By 2007, Martin McNeely was called to the congregation and has continued to engage with the wider Ballykeel Community.

The congregation have had strong links with many missionaries and interests around the globe this will be reflected during autumn with visitors from Poland, France and Dublin.
