Ballymena Mini Twelfth on Monday night

Ballymena’s annual ‘Mini Twelfth’ parade will take place in the town on Monday night, June 29, hosted by Ballymena District LOL No 8.

The event will feature 12 bands and is expected to have some 600 participants.

The parade will start off at 7.30pm from Wakehurst and proceed through the town along Queens Street, Salisbury Square, Harryville Bridge, Waveney Road, Galgorm Road, North Road, Audley Roundabout, Ballymoney Road, Mount Street, Thomas Street, Fairhill Roundabout, Market Road, Chapel Roundabout, Broughshane Street, Broadway, Church Street, Bridge Street, Harryville Bridge, Salisbury Square, Larne Street, Larne Road, arriving back at Wakehurst Road for 10pm.

Bands taking part will be Kellswater Flute Band, Moorfields Flute Band, Glenwherry Flute Band, Carnlea Accordion Band, Cullybackey Maine Defenders Flute Band, Pride of the Maine Flute Band, Craigywarren Flute Band, Ballymena Corps of Drums, Ballygarvey Flute Band, Castlegore Flute Band, Kells Sons of William Flute Band, and Ballykeel Loyal Sons of Ulster Flute Band.
