Ballymena Primary pupils walk for MS raises almost £5,500

ACTION MS chief executive Anne Walker visited Ballymena Primary School last Wednesday for a special awards presentation to thank the pupils for their tremendous efforts on their recent Walk for MS.

Over 250 pupils joined the Walk for MS team at Portglenone Forest Park on April 29 and altogether raised £5,417.47 in aid of Action MS.

Ann thanked the primary for their ‘generosity, dedication and support’, saying “we are very grateful for their generous support”.

Ballymena PS principal, Mr Brownlow said he was delighted with the phenomenal amount raised by the children and thanked everyone who very generously donated to the worthwhile cause.

He added that the top fundraising children would be attending a ‘thank-you luncheon’ to recognise their outstanding efforts.
